A motorcyclist is recovering in a Toronto hospital after sideswiping an SUV in Mono.
Dufferin OPP Constable Paul Nancekivell tells myFM News that the rider, a woman in her early 50s, was heading west on Mono Centre Road when she struck the vehicle going east at about 5:01 p.m. on Wednesday (Oct. 10).
The woman was taken to a Toronto hospital with life-threatening injuries. Her condition has since been upgraded to stable.
It’s not know what caused the crash.
Mono Centre Road was closed between 1st Line and 20 Sideroad until about 1 a.m. Thursday for a police investigation.
