Dufferin OPP is investigating a collision in Mono that resulted in one fatality.
On Friday, October 30th, shortly after 10:00 a.m., officers responded to reports of a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian in the area of Headwaters Lane and Blue Heron Drive.
Despite lifesaving efforts, the pedestrian, a 72-year-old female from Mono, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
A 62-year-old female, from Mono, has been charged with Dangerous Operation causing death
Anyone with information, including dashcam footage related to the collision, is asked to contact the Dufferin OPP .
