Fire is not something you should mess with.
Emergency Services were called to Easterbrook Crescent in Milton on the afternoon of Tuesday, October 20th, when a resident reported a potential arson case. The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) says the call was then corrected to the proper location of Kennedy Circle, just a block away.
According to the HRPS, an elderly resident attempted to burn some dry leaves on a public walkway. An adjacent fence then caught fire, which was extinguished by Milton Fire & Rescue Services.
The man was investigated by the HPRS, but no criminal charges have been laid.
