Santa at the Fairgrounds is returning to the Milton Fairgrounds this December for its 5th year.
Organized by the Halton Agricultural Society, the event will run over three weekends:
- December 5 and 6
- December 12 and 13
- December 19 and 20
Hours are 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day.
Families can take photos with Santa Morgan for $15 each, with digital photos emailed to families after each weekend. No printed copies will be provided. Cash and credit will be accepted for photos, although some vendors may accept cash only.
There is no entrance fee, and visitors can also relax by outdoor fire pits and roast marshmallows for s’mores. Santa visits will operate on a first-come, first-served basis, with no time slots required for general visits. The organizers will share updates about line lengths and wait times on Facebook and Instagram.
Sensory-friendly visits will be available from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on December 12 and 13. These visits will take place in a calm environment with reduced lighting, no music and lower crowd noise. Families can bring comfort items and choose flexible photo options, with no pressure for children to sit on Santa’s lap. To book a sensory-friendly visit, email santaatthefairgrounds@gmail.com.
Pets are not permitted at the event.
In place of an entrance fee, visitors are encouraged to donate to the Milton Community Resource Center’s Fill a Crib campaign. The infant food bank is particularly in need of larger-sized diapers, baby food pouches and jars, powdered formula and baby wipes. Cash donations are also accepted.
