The Ministry of Transportation has announced that speed limits along Highway 10 in Orangeville will be reduced by the end of this week.
Limits will be lowered from 80 km/h to 60 km/h starting just south of Dufferin Road 109 (the bypass)/McCannell Ave to just north of First St. in Orangeville
This section will marry up with the current 60 km/h speed limits already in place in Mono. Speed limit enforcement will be carried out by the OPP.
This change, supporting greater community safety, comes after over a year of advocacy efforts by Orangeville Council with the Province.
