Officers from the Caledon Detachment of the OPP have charged an individual with numerous offences following a traffic stop.
On August 18, at approximately 12:00 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on a loaded Commercial Motor Vehicle that was travelling on a no truck route in the area of Mountainview Road and Escarpment Sideroad, in Caledon. As a result, a 33-year-old male from Brampton was charged with:
- Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
- Having care or control of a motor vehicle with liquor readily available
- Disobey sign
