After a very long wait, Hansen Boulevard in Orangeville was officially opened this week. Orangeville Mayor Lisa Post stopped by the Indie FM studios to explain the benefits this new road will have for the Town:
The Mayor wished to especially recognize Great Gulf for their contributions in making this opening happen:
While the roadway opening is very positive, the Mayor is urging everyone to use it responsibly:
Dufferin OPP and the Town will be monitoring traffic speeds on the Boulevard and additional traffic calming measures will be implemented should it be deemed necessary.
