Dufferin OPP is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a small number of youths believed to be responsible for repeatedly trespassing on a golf course property and causing damage in Amaranth.
Earlier this summer, police received reports of trespassers entering the golf course property located along 6th Line in the Township of Amaranth and causing damage to the greens and sand traps. Investigators believe that a small number of individuals may be responsible for the repeated incidents.
Dufferin OPP is reminding members of the public that private property must be respected. Trespassing and causing damage to property can have serious consequences and may result in criminal charges.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to speak with their children about the importance of respecting private property and the potential consequences of trespassing or causing damage.
