Caledon OPP has charged a commercial vehicle driver after his vehicle became stuck in the hairpin curve on Forks of the Credit Road in Caledon.
On Friday, July 24th police were called to Forks of The Credit Road for an eastbound commercial motor vehicle that unsuccessfully tried to maneuver around a tight hairpin turn on the scenic road. The truck and trailer became wedged into the guiderail causing a lengthy closure of the road for its removal. The area is a posted no heavy truck route.
As a result of the incident, Forks of the Credit Road were closed for over 2 hours to facilitate the safe removal of the truck and trailer.
A 65-year-old driver from Mississauga was charged.
