The Town of Caledon has lifted its open-air fire ban.
To help protect the health of our community and reduce additional smoke and pollutants, The Town had implemented a complete outdoor burning ban.
The Dufferin County Fire Rating has been Updated to MODERATE and burn ban has been lifted.
Under a Moderate Fire Hazard Rating, conditions are still present that allow fires to start, but the risk of rapid spread is reduced compared to higher levels. Caution is still required when burning outdoors, and residents are reminded that fire safety remains important.
