The OPP is advising residents and visitors of temporary traffic changes in the Alton community during the RBC Canadian Open. Visitors are strongly urged to use the official event app to determine designated parking areas, as asking security personnel for directions disrupt traffic flow and creates unnecessary safety hazards.
From June 10 to 14th, the RBC Canadian Open is taking place at TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley, in Caledon. Traffic volume surrounding the tournament is expected to increase daily, which may impact both attendees and all road users
Beech Grove Sideroad is currently closed from Main Street to Porterfield Road until June 17, 2026. Access will be limited to tournament vehicles and shuttle buses only. Pedestrians are not permitted to enter the event. All ride-share vehicles (Uber, Lyft, etc.) must meet at the designated area located at the South Admissions entrance: 19101 Main Street, Caledon.
In addition, a temporary speed limit reduction will be in effect on Main Street between Beech Grove Sideroad and Charleston Sideroad. The speed limit on this stretch will be reduced from 80 km/h to 50 km/h for the duration of the event. Drivers are reminded to obey posted signage and exercise extra caution when traveling in the area.
Tournament attendees are encouraged to review parking and transportation details in advance. Full community and parking information is available at www.rbccanadianopen.com/ communityinfo and www.rbccanadianopen.com/ parking.
