Dufferin OPP has charged an Orangeville resident with impaired operation following a traffic complaint.
On May 10th, at approximately 1:30 a.m., officers were dispatched to the area of Fead and Faulkner Street in Orangeville for a report of a possible impaired driver. Officers located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. While speaking with the driver, officers initiated an impaired driving investigation.
As a result of the investigation, a38-year-old male from Orangeville, has been charged with:
• Operation while impaired
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville at a later date to answer to the charge.
In addition, the individual’s driver’s licence was suspended and the vehicle was impounded.
