Caledon OPP has concluded an eight-day traffic enforcement campaign focusing on reducing vehicle anonymity including such things as tinted windows, licence plate violations, and more.
The traffic campaign was conducted throughout two weekends in February and March, respectively. During that time, officers conducted hundreds of traffic stops and laid a total of 1,111 charges, of which 745 charges were related to vehicle anonymity.
It is important that vehicles do not have dark window tint or licence plate obstructions as they directly impact road safety, visibility, and motorist accountability.
Drivers are encouraged to help keep our roads safe by choosing safety over style.
