homeowners complete eligible renovations. You can make your
home more comfortable, affordable, energy-efficient and resilient to
extreme weather. Incentives and upfront financing minimize out-of-pocket costs.
The Program Offers
Up to $40,000 in financing at
2.5% fixed interest (0% for income-qualified households)
The loan is tied to the property, not the homeowner, and repaid
through property taxes with Terms up to 20 years
Applicants must own a home in Dufferin County (detached and semi-detached
homes, townhomes, duplexes, and triplexes qualify)
Be up to date on property taxes
Home must be occupied full-time as a primary residence
