As a result of an ongoing police investigation, officers from the Major Crime Unit of the Dufferin Detachment of the OPP have charged two people with sex-related offences as a result of a criminal investigation.
On Wednesday January 21st, Dufferin and Huronia West Major Crime Unit and the Dufferin Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), executed two search warrants at addresses in Orangeville and Wasaga Beach.
A 30-year-old male from Orangeville and a 29-year-old female from Wasaga Beach have been charged.
