Time to shovel!
A Blowing Snow Advisory has been issued by Environment Canada:
“Lake effect flurries combined with gusts to 60 km/h will lead to blowing snow today and this evening. Wind will increase early this morning.
The blowing snow will be most pronounced in open and wind exposed areas.“Consider postponing non-essential travel until conditions improve. If driving, turn on your lights, slow down and maintain a safe following distance.
“Blowing snow advisories are issued when widespread poor visibility in blowing snow is expected.”
