The Town of Caledon says it understands that the snow seems to be never ending, but it has no control over it.
What the Town does have control over is clearing the roads and doing it as safely as possible. Now this has come with challenges because of the behaviour of some residents. Recently snow plow operators have had shovels thrown at them, people blocking their path to avoid snow windrows ending up on their driveways and more. This type of behaviour and any other abuse towards staff is not acceptable and will result in the OPP being called.
Crews are out doing the best they can in these frigid conditions and deserve understanding and respect!
