Dufferin OPP has charged a driver following an incident involving a RIDE stop in Shelburne.
On January 5th, shortly after 2:00 a.m., Dufferin OPP officers were conducting a RIDE program on Highway 10 at Col. Phillips Drive in Shelburne when a vehicle failed to stop and fled the area. The vehicle was located and stopped by police.
A 44-year-old male from Melancthon, has been charged with:
• Operation while prohibited
• Fail to surrender suspended, revoked, or cancelled licence
• Fail to surrender insurance card
