Orangeville Hydro customers in the area west of C Line and the Parkview area lost power last night around 8pm. Crews patrolled the feeder to determine the cause. The cause of the outage was determined to be burning trees on Dufferin Road 3, upstream of Orangeville Hydro’s service territory. Crews worked in collaboration with the Orangeville fire department and Hydro One.
Power was out for most customers about 6 hours.
