Milton Fire & Rescue Services (MFRS) is reminding residents to stay fire-smart this holiday season.
This time of year is one of increased distractions that can lead to a higher risk of household fires. The department has launched a month-long campaign aimed at preventing common seasonal hazards, including electrical, cooking, and heating-related fires.
Throughout December, MFRS will be sharing safety reminders on Instagram and Facebook. Residents are encouraged to follow, share, and help spread fire-safety information within the community.
