The plan’s scale — aiming to accommodate an estimated 74,000 new residents in Bolton, nearly equal to Caledon’s entire current population of 80,000 — drew criticism, Objections were wide-ranging, and included things like traffic congestion and perceived flaws in the public engagement process.
