A consultant’s report on council pay will be presented at the October 14th Orangeville council meeting.
The review was completed by an independent third-party consultant under the Council Remuneration Policy approved earlier this year. The policy ensures a fair, transparent and consistent process for reviewing council pay, and that any approved changes apply only to future terms of council. The upcoming report will recommend updates to council pay for the 2026-2030 term, following the 2026 municipal election.
The report will be published today (October 9) on orangeville.ca/meetings.
