An Oakville man is the latest local lottery winner!
Majar Rai is celebrating after winning an ONTARIO 49 second prize worth $50,000 in the February 12th draw. He also won $162 on another portion of his ONTARIO 49 ticket, bringing his total winnings to $50,162!
The father of one said he discovered his big win on the OLG app while enjoying his morning coffee.
“I just couldn’t believe it,” he shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings. “I was very happy.”
With his windfall, Rai plans to pay off his mortgage and travel to Japan.
The winning ticket was purchased at Shoppers Drug Mart on Third Line in Oakville.
