Dufferin OPP have charged a Mono resident with multiple Criminal Code driving offences after using his truck to ram other vehicles on Wednesday morning.
On October 1st, Dufferin OPP officers responded to reports of a vehicle driving out of control, striking vehicles from Broadway in Orangeville all the way to Primrose, leaving a trail of destruction behind. The officers acted quickly and located the heavily damaged vehicle at the intersection of Highway 10 and 89 in Mono. They successfully blocked the vehicle from proceeding further, preventing additional damage and ensuring the safety of community members.
A 46-year-old male from Mono, has been charged with:
• Assault with a Weapon x 2
• Dangerous Operation
• Failure to Stop After Accident x 2
• Flight from Peace Officer
