We have the latest crime map update from the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS).

The map details when and where reported crimes took place in Milton. Between Monday, September 22nd and Monday, September 29th, there were at least 73 cases of crime took place. Here’s what we found:

Among the 73 potential cases of crime, 31 were theft cases of various kinds, seven were hit and run cases, and two break and enter cases.

With the number of theft and theft from vehicle cases, we’ll recycle a message from the HRPS where it encourages residents to implement the following theft prevention tips:
- Ensure your unattended vehicle(s) are locked and secure;
- Never leave spare keys in your vehicle;
- Remove valuables from plain view; and,
- Equip your vehicle with an alarm.
