The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) needs help identifying a suspect who damaged store windows at businesses in Oakville.
Between August 26th and September 1st, during the late evening and early morning hours (11:30 p.m. – 2:00 a.m.) four retail businesses in the Bronte Harbour area of Oakville, near Lakeshore Road West, suffered damage after an unknown suspect threw a rock through the exterior store windows. There is no known connection between the businesses which appear to have been randomly targeted.
The suspect is described by the HRPS as:
- male
- white
- dark hair
- dark beard and moustache
- wearing dark coloured pants and hoody, and black gloves
The suspect was also observed riding a black electric scooter.
The businesses were closed when the windows were smashed.
