At about 2:30 on Sunday afternoon, Halton Regional Police were notified of a serious collision at the intersection of Steeles Avenue and Bronte Street in Milton. The collision occurred between a motorcycle operated by a 27 year old man, and an SUV driven by a 59 year old man, both from Milton. A third vehicle, a sedan, was damaged as the result of the primary collision.
The motorcycle had been proceeding eastbound through the intersection while the westbound SUV was making a left turn to go south on Bronte when they collided. The motorcycle rider died at the scene.
