The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is investigating a smash-and-grab style robbery that occurred at Oakville Place Mall.
On Wednesday, July 2nd, at roughly 5:15 p.m., three suspects wearing face masks and armed with hammers entered Michael Hill Jewellery inside the mall. Once inside, the suspects smashed multiple display cases and stole a large quantity of jewellery. They remained in the store for roughly two minutes before fleeing.
The suspects were seen last seen leaving the mall in a white vehicle. The make and model are unknown to police at this time.
No physical injuries were reported.
The suspects are described by the HRPS as follows:
- Suspect 1 – Male, slim build, wearing a grey tracksuit, gloves, and a face mask.
- Suspect 2 – Male, slim build, wearing a black tracksuit, gloves, and a face mask.
- Suspect 3 – Male, heavier build, wearing a grey hoodie and grey pants, along with gloves and a face mask. He was carrying a duffle bag.
At this time, no arrests have been made.
