The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is investigating a shooting in Oakville.
On Saturday, June 28th, at roughly 12:25 a.m., a man was shot while seated inside his parked vehicle outside Hashtag Garden Modern Kitchen and Lounge, located at 177 Cross Avenue in Oakville.
A suspect vehicle approached, and two male suspects exited and confronted the victim. During the interaction, the victim sustained gunshot injuries.
The suspects were both seen wearing dark clothing and face coverings. They were last spotted fleeing the parking lot in a late model grey Honda CR-V SUV.
The victim is currently being treated in the hospital for serious, life-threatening injuries. No one else was shot or physically injured.
Police believe this was a targeted shooting.
