A Melancthon resident is facing impaired driving-related charges following a hit-and-run in Shelburne this week.
Dufferin OPP responded to reports of a fail-to-remain collision on Main Street on Tuesday.
Police found the suspect, observed signs of impairment and made an arrest.
The driver has been charged with several offences, including driving with liquor readily available, failing to remain at the scene of a crash and operating a vehicle without insurance.
