Police uncovered serious safety violations after a routine traffic stop in Caledon over the weekend.
Caledon OPP stopped a pickup truck towing a trailer on Mayfield Road, officers say the vehicle had no valid Commercial Vehicle Operator’s Registration, no safety or trip inspections, defective brakes, and was overloaded.
The licence plates were seized from both the truck and trailer, and charges have been laid against the driver and operator.
