The Halton District School Board (HDSB), in partnership with Halton Region Public Health, is hosting a series of free information sessions aimed at helping parents and guardians understand the growing risks of youth vaping and how to support their children.
With vaping becoming a fast-evolving trend among teens, the sessions will cover health risks, signs of use, and offer tools and strategies for families. Led by Public Health Nurses and school administrators, the discussions are part of a broader effort to promote mental wellness and prevent substance misuse across school communities.
Session dates and locations:
- Milton: Craig Kielburger Secondary – Tuesday, May 27th
- Halton Hills: Georgetown District High – Thursday, May 29th
- Oakville: Garth Webb Secondary – Monday, June 2th
