Dufferin Detachment OPP have charged a Melancthon resident with impaired operation-related offences following a traffic stop.
On May 19th shortly before 1:30 a.m., officers were conducting traffic enforcement in the area of Owen Sound Street in Shelburne when they observed a vehicle of concern and initiated a traffic stop. A 40-year-old male from Melancthon has been charged with:
• Operation while impaired
• Driving a motor vehicle with an open container of liquor
• Driving with improper headlights
