Caledon council, staff and residents gathered at the town hall on Monday for the National Day of Mourning to remember impacted workers and their families.
Mayor Annette Groves noted the importance of safe workplaces in ensuring tragedies are mitigated and prevented.
According to a media release, since 2020 the Town of Caledon has had zero workplace fatalities and zero convictions under the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
