Saturday, March 8th is International Women’s Day.
To help honour the day, and the month of March overall, and the Milton Public Library (MPL) has decided to do something special for it.
All of March, the MPL is teaming up with Help A Girl Out (HAGO) Canada for a special donation drive. They’re collecting menstrual products (pads, tampons, panty liners, and reusable options) at all Milton library branches until March 31st.
HAGO has a mission to accelerate menstrual equity through access, empowerment & education that combat stigma and support rights. Learn more here.
Check out all three MPL branches:
- Main library – 1010 Main Street East in Milton
- Sherwood library – 6355 Main Street West in Milton
- Beaty Branch – 945 Fourth Line in Milton
