A 30-year-old man faces 26 criminal charges following his arrest on Sunday afternoon, after two calls to police.
The first call involved a man at a gas station in Guelph who put $50 worth of fuel into a vehicle and left without paying.
The second report involved a man acting erratically while sitting in a vehicle in an Eramosa Road parking lot.
Police determined the vehicle was reported stolen on Dec. 5 from another city. Police also allegedly located several small bags of what was believed to be a controlled substance and discovered the man was wanted on separate warrants from Peel and Halton regions.
