
Members of the Dufferin Detachment of the OPP have charged a Shelburne resident with impaired operation related offences as the result of a R.I.D.E. program.
On November 18th, at approximately 11:15 p.m., Dufferin OPP officers were conducting a RIDE (Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere) spot check in the area of Victoria Street in Shelburne. A vehicle entered the area and was met by the officers. After a brief conversation, the officers were quickly led to an impaired driving investigation.
A 41-year-old male, from Shelburne is facing numerous charges. The accused individual is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville. Their driver’s licence was suspended 90 days, and their vehicle impounded for 7 days.
