An 11-year-old boy was rescued after falling into a ravine at Bronte Creek in Oakville.
Burlington OPP and Halton Police received reports of the fall at Bronte Creek Provincial Park shortly before 2 p.m.
According to police, the boy slid down an embankment near the creek.
Oakville Fire located the boy and safely extricated him from the ravine.
He sustained minor injuries and was taken home by his relieved parents after being treated.
