This weekend is the Canada Day long weekend!
On Monday, July 1st, residents can head to the fairgrounds to take in the activities planned for the day. The Halton Agricultural Society’s Canada Day Committee says there will be:
- food vendors;
- interactive games;
- inflatables;;
- sand hill;
- beer tent; and,
- entertainment for the whole family.
The day will start with the Veteran’s Breakfast at Victoria Park. A parade march will then follow, as it leads to the fairgrounds, arriving at 2:00 p.m. when the gates open at the Milton Fairgrounds.
Milton Member of Parliament (MP) Adam van Koeverden is welcoming everyone to his office at 16 Hugh Lane for a free barbecue. That starts at noon, and will run until food runs out. They will have burgers, along with Halal and veggie options.
Fireworks are planned for after sunset at the Milton Fairgrounds.
