Rising star in Canadian motorsports, Eric Kunz, is set to showcase his race car at the Blues Cruise on Broadway on Friday!
Kunz, an Orangeville native, competes in the Sports Car Championship Canada presented by Michelin (SCCC) and recently won Race 1 and 2 in the TCA Class at the Victoria Day Speedfest held at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, thrilling an audience of 50,000 enthusiastic motorsport fans.
The SCCC, organized by FEL Motorsports, represents the pinnacle of sports car racing in Canada, closely aligning with the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge series in the United States.
Eric joined the FM101 Orangeville Morning Show to talk more about his passion for racing and his future in motorsports.
Eric will have his car proudly displayed in front of CSN Leggett’s Collision Service this weekend for the Blues Cruise On Broadway.
In addition to his racing career, Eric is a SickKids Patient Ambassador, Rare Disease advocate/patient, and founder of Driven Living.
Driven Living is an Orangeville-based not-for-profit organization that uses motorsport’s popularity to raise awareness of rare diseases and funds for treatment, care, and research, aiming to inspire and connect individuals impacted by rare diseases, which affect 1 in 12 Canadians.
