The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Highway Safety Division had a scary call last night.
Reports came in just before midnight on Tuesday, May 21st that a wrong way vehicle was heading Toronto bound on the Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW) through Guelph Line in Burlington.
Earlier this month, a woman died after driving the wrong way on the 401 through Milton.
Thankfully, last night’s incident went differently. Officials safely stopped the vehicle near Fairview Street. The elderly male driver was assessed by paramedics and taken home.
