Over 250 backpacks have been collected for the New Hope Salvation Army.
The Give Back with a Backpack Campaign was a partnership between the Dufferin OPP, Salvation Army and the Orangeville Jr. A Northmen Lacrosse Team.
New backpacks and other school supplies were dropped off at the Tony Rose Memorial Sports Centre over the last couple of weeks.
The items will be used to make sure every child in Dufferin County has the items needed to start off the school year on the right foot.
