The Campfire Poets setting up to play for a crown at the 2023 Orangeville Rotary Ribfest
Another Orangeville Ribfest has come to an end.
The Rotary Club of Orangeville would like to extend a huge thank-you to over 160 volunteers who helped kept Ribfest running smoothly.
Over the entire weekend, attendance was over 22,000!
The rib-judging contest took place on Saturday, and the winners were:
• Judges’ Choice Best Ribs – Brickyard BBQ
• Judges’ Choice Best Sauce – Silver Bullet
• People’s Choice Award – Billy Bones
All funds from Ribfest will go towards projects in the Orangeville/Dufferin County community, including some funds being put aside for the redevelopment of Rotary Park.
After closing on Sunday, all left over pop and water was donated to the Choices Youth Shelter.
