With Canada Day right around the corner, The Orangeville Legion would like to remind the community that it’s an opportune time to review the protocols for flying our National Flag.
The Department of Canadian Heritage administers the appropriate etiquette for doing that, find information here.
Here in Orangeville, the Royal Canadian Legion will be celebrating Canada’s birthday with a parking-lot party at the Legion on Saturday starting at 12-noon.
It’s a family event with appropriate ceremonies, barbecue, Colour Party, entertainment by Neal Welch and birthday cake for all to enjoy.
