
A weekend of bargaining has resulted in a tentative contract agreement for most striking workers represented by the Public Service Alliance of Canada.
P-SAC issued a release at 1:30 Monday (May1) morning…. that it had reached a four-year agreement covering 4 of its bargaining units for 120-thousand public servants.
The pact includes wage increases totaling 12.6 per cent when compounded over the life of the deal, as well as significant new protections around remote work.
The members are set to return to work Monday morning or their next scheduled shift.
A deal has yet to be reached for the 35-thousand workers with Canada Revenue Agency.
