A Milton school was placed into a lockdown Friday following what was described by the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) as an ‘incident’.
Officers are currently investigating the matter. They say youths were chased into Anne J. MacArthur Public School by other youths. The lockdown was then placed, which has since been lifted.
A hold and secure was also placed at nearby St. Benedict Catholic Elementary School.
No injuries have been reported.
While the investigation is ongoing, the HRPS says there is no threat to any students or staff.
