The Townsend Smith Hospice Foundation (TSHF) is getting ready for its Hike for Hospice event.
This will be their sixth annual event for the fundraising walkathon. Last year, they returned to in-person walking for the first time since 2019, raising $20,000!
It was also announced last year that TSHF has found the location for their hospice! Work is underway to put the hospice on the property of Hillcrest United Church in Georgetown. It’s just across from Pineview Elementary School on Trafalgar Road.
Hike for Hospice will be held in two separate locations this year. One will be in Milton at the Milton Community Sports Park. The other will be at the playground at the Wallace Street Parkette in Acton. Both events will start at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 13th.
