The latest COVID-19 stats for Milton and Halton are now available.
Five additional deaths are shown in the totals. Four of the deaths were Burlington residents, putting the city at 206 total deaths. The other death was a Milton resident, putting our town at 87 total deaths. Oakville remains at 148 total deaths. Halton Hills remains at 75. Halton is now at 516 deaths total from COVID-19.
Across Halton, there are 104 new cases. The total number of cases is up to 58,898. There have been 1,818 total hospitalizations in Halton and 516 deaths.
In Milton, we had eight new cases. That brings us to 15,096 total cases. There have been 410 total hospitalizations in Milton and 87 deaths.
There are currently no outbreaks reported in Milton.
Looking at vaccination numbers, a total of 1,546,599 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Halton. 1,379,492 of the doses were to Halton residents.
