Environment Canada is telling residents of Milton and the surrounding area to watch out for blowing snow.
It’s expected to be a windy Sunday, and with about 2cm of flurries still to come, we can expect visibility to be impacted at times. The weather advisory from Environment Canada reads as such:
“Scattered bands of heavy snow and local blowing snow will continue across the area this morning. Snow is expected to taper off this morning.
“Travel may be hazardous due to sudden changes in the weather. If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop. Visibility will be suddenly reduced to near zero at times in heavy snow and blowing snow.”
Be careful on the more rural roads as the wind coming off the plains could negatively impact your driving.
