A Special Weather Statement has been issued for Milton and the surrounding area.
Environment Canada says residents can expect strong winds expected to begin the afternoon of Wednesday, February 15th. The winds could reach up to 80 km/h, which may toss loose objects or cause tree branches to break. You can expect driving conditions to change due to the high winds.
Here’s what Environment Canada says:
“Temperatures are expected to soar into the low to mid double digits on Wednesday making it feel more like late March or early April. These warm temperatures will help create gusty conditions with wind gusts near 80 km/h expected.”
